The Glimpse Guides mobile app was created as a collection of city guides for parents who don’t want to give up dining in stylish restaurants, staying in luxury hotels or shopping at some of the most charming and exclusive boutiques in the world. We built a tremendous amount of functionality into this app and really enjoyed working with the client on it. Some of the more popular features include: GPS-enabled maps of each city, with locations of all recommendations including proximity to user’s current location, Specific itineraries, Current weather, The ability to save Favorites, Search for specific businesses.
We integrated GoogleMaps and Weather API feeds for real-time directions and weather from the users current location.
Glimpse Guides is an upscale city guide including helpful information for families, trip planning services, artisan-made travel goods and more. 100% of Glimpse profits go to the charity Give A Glimpse, which gives underserved students the educational gift of travel.
