We were challenged to develop a robo-advisor platform for two industry leaders; Tudor Investment Corp and Aspetuck Capital. The application had to be very interactive, fully translatable in Chinese as well as a dedicated mobile app for clients to manage their account.
Our initial thought process involved the overall architecture built on a react.js framework. We then researched competitor websites, studying the flow and overall experience.
We built a questionnaire that takes the users through a series of short steps to answer some basic financial questions in under a minute to display a suggested portfolio. Using dynamic charting we allow the user the ability to adjust their risk level and see the effect on the anticipated strategy growth.
We then integrated an account opening process and account management functions such as adding and withdrawing funds through 3rd party ACH bank transactions. All fully integrated with Interactive Brokers.
